What’s a Virtual Business Manager Anyway?

It kind of sounds like a made up title. And that’s because it kind of is. But stick with me here – it makes sense (at least to me).

When searching for virtual help for your business, you’ll likely come across listings for either Virtual Assistants (VA) or Online Business Managers (OBM). While there can be some grey area, generally a VA is more like an extra set of hands to help you with the busy work and an OBM serves more as a strategic partner helping you execute on your business goals.

I do both, which is why I have assumed the (possibly imaginary but definitely real) role of Virtual Business Manager.

I have the capacity to do both because I operate within one industry – BEAUTY. I choose to do both because I’m not above doing the dirty work and I genuinely love to see others succeed. And with over a decade of experience working behind the chair, in the world of corporate education, and as a beauty business owner myself, I have the knowledge and skills to do both.
